One peace walk now under way across America, Steps for Peace,
presented publicly on October 31 on its arrival at the United Nations
a proposal by the Co-Chair of the US House of Representatives
Progressive Caucus for an "exit strategy" resolution as another
example of what such local events as above may consider to help
publicize with local support and media coverage to help end this
global emergency American War Nightmare before it gets worse.

This proposal's resolution, which will bring our troops home, says that
US troops are increasingly targets in this continuing occupation of Iraq.
An exit strategy is needed now with deeper US and international
cooperation with the United Nations. As proposed by the co-chair of
the House Progressive Caucus, Rep. Dennis John Kucinich (D-OH),

If this resolution is accepted by the Bush Administration, it would mean
that the US turns over to the UN the responsibility for the oil assets of
Iraq and the UN manages those assets on behalf of the Iraqi people
until the Iraqi people achieve self governance, while the US rescinds
all plans for the privatization of the Iraqi economy and turns over to
the UN the contracting process so the UN can create a peacekeeping
force from its member nations which will replace the US troops in Iraq
and instead the US commits monetary support for the UN efforts in Iraq
to rebuild what the US destroyed in Iraq including reparations to families
of innocent civilians killed.

after two weeks intense faxing to my local Congressman Bill Thomas,
Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, his DC office
phoned and insisted I email them at their webform for prompt attention
to my urgently submitted information since Sept.5 Wall Street Journal
article authenicating realities of cold fusion, as a followup to Rep. Thomas
letter to my of July 16, 1998, acknowledging receipt of new energy tech
info submitted to DOE CNES and saying he gave the info to the heads
of the appropriate Congressional Committees, but since then the many
emails and pages sent to him on this matter archved at drums-of-peace
group, NO RESPONE from Rep. Thomas and this Energy Bill now in
Congress apparently does not give any consideration to this new energy

The information referenced below shows the $7.5 billion nuclear energy
industry subsidy in the Energy Bill now in Congress would cost each
American taxpayer about $600 to produce six privately owned nuclear
